Jessica Sanchez
Jessica is a nonprofit leader, author, and advocate dedicated to advancing mental health access, equity, and democracy. She is the Founder & CEO of Daughters of Both Suns, a nonprofit providing trauma-informed support and crisis care for Black and Latina women, and serves as Program Manager at Mindful Warrior Alliance, where she leads initiatives supporting military families with free mental health counseling and fertility grants. Jessica holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Public Administration. She is also the author of Breaking the Cycle: A Path to Ending America’s Legacy of Division and Democracy Unveiled: Dissecting the Shadows of Misinformation, both of which explore the intersections of psychology, democracy, and social justice. Passionate about advocacy, storytelling, and community healing, Jessica also hosts The Shift Podcast: Conversations That Matter, creating space for dialogue on mental health, activism, and democracy.
